Sustainable Agriculture Training

A training course on sustainable agriculture was held at the Food and Heritage  research garden at the Kurdistan Institute with with 33 participants attending.

The sustainable agriculture training consisted of theoretical and hands on training that continued for three days.

The training was held on April 28, 29 and 30, 2025 at the Food and Heritage Research Garden of the Kurdistan Institute in collaboration with Rosa Luxemburg-Beirut Office Organization.

During the three days of the training participants from ( ) learned about the basics of sustainable agricultural and garden methods, from knowing the local climate, too soil health, land preparation,  planting methods, irrigation, seed selection and natural treatment of diseases in gardens and fields.
