Asso Hassan Zadeh is a Kurdish scholar from Iran with expertise in international law and Middle Eastern affairs. He earned his PhD in international law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the University of Geneva, and he is currently a lecturer at the Catholic University of Lyon. His professional experience includes serving as a legal adviser to the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq and as a Human Rights Officer at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
