Christina Förch Saab has lived in Lebanon for 24 years. She worked as a reporter for Deutsche Welle in the 2000s and has since worked for a number of German-language media outlets. In 2014, she founded the NGO Fighters for Peace with her Lebanese husband and other former combatants in the Lebanese Civil War. The organization is committed to critical analysis of the Lebanese Civil War, peace education, and preventing extremism.
